As featured on weddings in Kent blog

Set in the idyllic and beautiful tree house lodges at Kent Cottage Holidays in Blean, this shoot has elements of fairy-tale magic to it, with incredible and unique details provided by the venue, such as the huge hand-carved wooden chairs and dragon bench and the stunning Copper bath.

Along with an amazing team of talented suppliers, it was agreed that we should go for an earthy autumnal colour scheme and almost theatrical makeup incorporating leaves, feathers and jewels to bring something very special to the look, and blending in with the stunning tree house setting.

Each tree house is hand-made and has its own theme. Handmade bespoke bridal crowns, jewellery and outfits gave the shoot an even more individual look. From the Autumnal moon-arch to the smallest detail in the jewellery, I tried to capture it all, as every item was as important as each other and was what made the overall look so amazing and special.

On the day everything came together beautifully. The rain cleared for us to start the shoot and at the end of the day we were even blessed with a fire red sunset.

The venue is simply incredible and the warm colour scheme complemented the surroundings beautifully; perfect autumnal woodland wedding inspiration!
